Fatoba Is Selfish And Callous! Yes!

By Gbenga Sodeinde

Hon. Olusola Steve Fatoba, who is representing Ekiti Central I Constituency in the House of Representatives in the last three years and who is again contesting the February 25, 2023 election for second term may afterall appear selfish and callous, as many people have said.

I wondered why Hon Fatoba is vying to be returned to the Green Chambers in spite of his landmark achievements within the spate of three years of his tenure as a legislator in the House of Representatives, Abuja.

His selfishness and callousness have translated into good governance as he unveiled the long-standing secrets of the political hunksters whose main aim is to win elections to feather their own nests at the expense of the electorate.

What a high level of selfishness and wickedness and dis-service to the “winners-take-all” political class!

It is more honourable as a journalist not a politician, to put Fatoba’s selfishness and callousness into the right perspective in the areas of his returning the Dividends of Democracy to his Constituents in a similar Circumstance when some other legislators have failed to positively empower their Constituents.

Yes, Fatoba is guilty of selfishness on the grounds of the following verifiable things Fatoba has done for his Constituents.

BILLS:
For you to know that Fatoba has been in the House of Reps. as an able representative and not a bench warmer, he has sponsored,  1.    Federal College of Nursing and Midwifery Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti state (Establishment) Bill, 2022 (HB. 1904).
