Nigerian Legal Icon, Chief Wole Olanipekun (SAN) has given pass mark to Ekiti state Governor, Mr Biodun Oyebanji on good governance.
Chief Olanipekun gave good commendation about the Governor in his remarks at Bamidele Olumilua University of Education, Science and Technology(BOUESTI) Council’s retreat which was held at luxury landing apartment, Ajebamidele, Ado-Ekiti on Wednesday.
The Ikere-Ekiti born legal luminary who is also the Chancellor of BOUESTI remarked further that Gov. Oyebanji has with his good character and excellent performance positioned himself as a future political leader of Yorubaland.
He said, ” I want to commend the Governor of Ekiti state. He is a young man in whom I am well pleased. BAO is doing well and has what it takes to take Ekiti state to the next level.
“In acknowledging the governor’s who have served before, I hold them in high regard. However, the current Governor, Mr Biodun Oyebanji, stands out as someone Ekiti needed. I refrain from delving into political matters like second term; my focus is on recognizing the service of the current governor. By all measures, the trajectory he is on positions him as a potential future leader in Yoruba land. May God spare his life as he continues in this noble service”
He called on the people of the land of honour to pray for the governor, encourage and give him all the necessary support to succeed in office.
“Let us collectively offer our prayers, encouragement, and support to him. In this role, he is human, subject to challenges and needs our understanding” said Olanipekun
