Ekiti Social Cultural Group Marks End Of The Year Party

One of the leading social cultural groups in Ekiti, Ado Heritage, has marked its 2022 end-of-year ceremony, which amongst other things featured the celebration of a good outing in 2022.

The Group was primarily established to promote the cultural heritage of Ado-Ekiti; to enhance the welfare of its members and to contribute to building the Ekiti and Nigerian society.

The end-of-year party which took place in Ado-Ekiti yesterday, reviewed the activities of the group in 2022 and tasked members to be on good behavior and conducts

In his address, the President of the Group, Basorun Tope Alabi, urged members to at all times be of good conduct and respect the extant rules and regulations governing the group.

According to Basorun, the group has been at forefront of promoting brotherliness among Ado-Ekiti indigenes and Ekiti as a whole, a legacy to which the group is committed, he maintained and urged members to sustain the tempo to strengthen their bond of unity.

He appreciated members for their support and efforts in keeping the flag of the group flying.

The group’s vice president, Aare Kalif Adebuyi, also advised members to always be truthful and upright in their undertakings as we seek to build a virile and happy group

The executive chairman of Ado Ekiti local government, Chief Bosun Osaloni, who also attended the occasion advised members to be of good behavior and work in accordance with the vision and mission of the group.

Also speaking, the Group’s coordinator, Mr. Demola Ayoola thanked members of the group for maintaining a high level of discipline and being good ambassadors even as he expressed gratitude to God for the success of the outgoing year and His protection upon members.

He said the gathering is an opportunity for members to once again unwind and network as they pray for the success of every member in the 2023 fiscal year in their various endeavors

Members of the Group were in high spirits as they wind, dined, and danced in happiness for the mercy of God that brought them to the end of the year.
