A UK-based Nigerian lady has appealed to Africans to send money to their families living abroad as life over there is getting harder.
The lady identified as Chioma revealed that the cost of living in the UK has skyrocketed.
According to her, those living in old houses abroad that are poorly insulated are finding it extremely difficult to stay warm as cost of recharging their electric meter and gas is outrageously high.
She said that she had once used 100 pounds to recharge her electric meter, which she used for her cooking as well as heating up her kid’s room only to wake up the next morning to see that all that was remaining was just 60 pounds.
Chioma called on all Africans who have families abroad to send them money as things are getting bad overseas.
