….Promises massive votes for Tinubu

The Governor of Ekiti state, His Excellency, Mr. Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji has given the reason why politicians are yet to make the list of his appointments.
The Governor in his remarks during an unscheduled visit to one of the biggest political party wards in Ekiti state, Ado APC ward eleven on Thursday said appointment of politicians into political offices are pended in agreement to unanimous decision of party leaders that politicians would be considered for appointment after the 2023 Presidential election.
Oyebanji stated further that he has no choice than to subscribe to their decision as a loyal party man who has respect for party leadership. The governor added that all his recent appointees who are mostly technocrats are from Ekiti state who have contributed in no small measure towards the development of other states.
He said, “I made it known during the swearing-in ceremony of those that I appointed recently that most of them are not politicians but technocrats who are chosen based on their wealth of experience.
“The reason why I have not considered politicians for appointment is that, party leaders have all agreed that appointment of politicians into political positions will come up after 2023 presidential election. As a loyal party member who has great respect for party leaders, I have no choice than to subscribe to their decisions.
“All those that have been appointed are from Ekiti. They are those that have contributed immensely towards the development of other states. Going by their contributions towards the development of other states, I have to seek for their service in our dear state”
The Governor furthered in his remarks by promising massive votes for APC Presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the upcoming 2023 presidential election. The Governor expressed optimism that the presidential candidate would win with wide margin.
“By God’s grace, Asiwaju has won. The last time I saw Asiwaju, I promised him of massive votes from the people of Ekiti state. And I believe that we will do it.
“During my last encounter with him he asked if I am aware he is an in-law to us in Ekiti and I answered in affirmative. He said if will fulfil our promise by voting massively for him, he will make us happy”
The number one citizen also extolled the good virtues of the Secretary to Ekiti State Government(SSG), Dr(Mrs) Habibat Omolara Adubiaro who is a member and leader of the ward.
Oyebanji made it known that Dr. Adubiaro was considered for the number three position in the state on account of her proven integrity and good track record.
“As Regards the SSG, it is God that favours her for this position. She didn’t lobby for it. Since I have known her, I have not found her wanting.
“We carried out thorough investigation before considering her for this appointment and the result of our investigation on her came out positively. She is an epitome of integrity”
The Governor promised party members of more dividend of democracy and sued for peace and unity among them.
Earlier, the ward party Chairman, Oba Adegoke Oba expressed his deepest joy and profound appreciation over the governor’s visit and prayed for his success.
