Eid-El-Kabir: Uba Urges Muslims To Pray For Peace

Governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in Benue State and Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Titus Uba calls on Muslim faithful to pray for the peace and stability of the country as the nation prepares for the forthcoming general elections.

In a statement signed by the Chief Press secretary to the Speaker, Wuese Orshi, Engr. Uba enjoins the Muslim faithful to reflect on the significance of the celebration, which he says borders on peaceful coexistence, love for one another and encouraging sacrificial living, noting that with out these, no society could advance.

While wishing Muslims a pleasant celebration, the Speaker urges them to embrace religious tolerance and live harmoniously with people of other faiths, saying this would enhance national unity.
