Following the incessant insecurity in the Southeastern part of Nigeria, the Federal Government has finally resolved to adopt dialogue as the next option to quenching the burning fire in the region.

This development was revealed by the Minister of Labour and Employment, Dr Chris Ngige, after his meeting with President Buhari and his Chief of Staff, Professor Ibrahim Gambari, at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

The Minister while speaking on the development, assured that the process of the dialogue had already started.

According to the Minister, he said “during the meeting, we took our time to look at the security situation of the country, especially in Southeast, and we made some proposal to Mr. President, based on the yearnings of the people, and what the government also wants.
