Hon. Samuel Godday Empowers Constituents

The Honourable Member representing Apa/Agatu Federal Constituency of Benue State, Hon. Samuel Odagboyi Godday has again displayed unprecedented commitment towards the empowerment of his constituents by distributing sewing machines and grinding engines to beneficiaries from the two Local Government Areas.

The Reps Member who is known for his consistency in the area of human resource development was on ground at Ugbokpo in Apa Local Government Area alongside representative of the state coordinator of National Directorate of Employment (NDE), party faithfuls and stakeholders of the All Progressive Congress amongst other dignitaries to witness the event, as part of activities to mark the Easter weekend.

In his remarks, the people’s Honourable congratulated the beneficiaries and charge them to ensure the items are put to use to generate daily income thereby increasing the number small scale businesses created within the constituency.
The Reps Member noted that he will not relent but continue to drive home more dividends of quality representation to the people of Apa/Agatu.

In their separate remarks, Hon. Barr. Danladi Ochekpe from Apa Local Government Area and Hon. Philip Otukpa from Agatu Local Government Area appreciated the leadership qualities of Hon. Godday Samuel which is quite historic in the Constituency. They further challenged other leaders to emulate the passionate drive for societal development as demonstrated by the Honourable Member.

The beneficiaries could not hide their joy as they thanked the Honourable Member for the gesture, noting that the impacts of Hon. Godday accross the nooks and crannies of the constituency are glaring, a clear indication of what genuine leadership is all about. While praying for the Reps Member, they urged the people of Apa/Agatu not to relent in supporting the Hon. Godday in all ramifications with particular emphasis on the next elections.
