According to the state broadcaster GBC, a 50 years old popular Prophet at Asuokaw in the Eastern Region has been charged with manslaughter.
This happened after the Prophet who worships with the 12 Apostles Church reportedly raped a four years old girl to death.
The man of God had laced the drink of the small girl with a drug substance. After she became intoxicated and unconscious, the Prophet hopped on the poor girl and did the unthinkable till she passed out and died.
The sad news brought total shock in every household in the small communities of Asuokaw. Least did they expect that such a powerful and popular man of God could do such a thing.
His church was nearly burnt down. Kudos to the Ghana Police Service which intervened to save the situation.
Lawyers for the departed girl are calling for a swift run of the case so that the poor Girl’s soul can get justice and again rest in perfect peace.
