This development has generated reactions from the former Governors of Ekiti State who are members of the PDP, Chief Ayodele Fayose and Chief Segun Oni.
In his reaction, Fayose said those who are already smelling defeat should be honest and decent enough to accept it rather than embarking on violent attack against the party secretariat.
In his reaction, Chief Segun Oni condemned the attack describing the occurrence as Barbaric.
He said in a statement that the attack on the Party secretariat would never stop the party from attaining victory in the June 18, Governorship Election.
He called for urgent steps to ensure adequate security to safeguard lives and property at this critical time of politicking.
“The vandalisation of the secretariat was an action taken very far; Genuinely, Partakers of this action should be brought to book” he said.
