20 Years of Grace and Glory: Dare Mercy Turns His Anniversary into a Tourism Carnival in Ekiti Visit Ekiti Bureau of Tourism Development

Ekiti is about to host a cultural wave like no other. Juju music sensation Dare Mercy, who has carried the banner of creativity and entertainment for two decades, is not merely marking time on stage — he is creating a tourism carnival that blends rhythm with celebration, performance with culture, and festivity with economic impact.

As part of his anniversary journey, Dare Mercy visited the Ekiti State Bureau of Tourism Development, where he was warmly received by its Director General, Barrister Wale Ojo-Lanre. The DG, speaking with enthusiasm, declared:

> “This is not just a concert; this is a tourism carnival. It will bring music lovers and culture enthusiasts into Ekiti, boost our economy, and reaffirm the state’s position as a home of creativity and entertainment.”

The carnival, themed “An All White Party”, is set for Wednesday, 24th September 2025 at 3:00pm, Radiance Lounge, beside Eco Bank, New Iyin Road, Ado Ekiti.

The event card unveils a stellar cast that guarantees a night of extraordinary energy. At the top stands Alhaji Abass Akande Obesere, the Fuji legend, whose presence electrifies the line-up and broadens its cultural reach. Alongside him are juju greats and cultural icons — Sir Demola Suzi, Femi Solar, Yinka James Adonai, and Queen Ayo Balogun. Together, they will turn Ekiti into a stage of unforgettable music and cultural celebration.

For Dare Mercy, the anniversary is more than personal:

> “It is thanksgiving for 20 years of grace, it is a celebration of music, and it is also a gift to Ekiti — a state whose cultural embrace and tourism vision align perfectly with the essence of juju.”

The carnival promises not just music, but a movement. Hotels will brim, traders will thrive, communities will glow, and Ekiti will once again show why it is fast becoming Nigeria’s new hub for juju music and cultural tourism.
