In a bid to aggressively and vigorously take the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) campaign messages to every nook and cranny of Benue South ahead of 2023 general elections, a group of vibrant, reliable, dependable and united Idoma youth politicians and stunch members of PDP, have established the youth wing of G-9.
Members of this team who are predominantly grassroot mobilizers, in the first instance are drawn from across the nine (9) local government areas that make up Benue South Senatorial District.
It is expected that the G-9 will form the nucleus and rallying point that would drive and sell all the PDP Candidates to the people of zone c ahead of 2023 general elections.
The group has agreed to leave no stone unturned to work assiduously and closely with the leadership of the party in the state to ensure that the party’s governorship candidate, Titus Ubah and his running mate Sir John Ngbede as well as other candidates of the party win the 2023 general elections.
The convener of the group, Hon. Emmanuel Oko, during the inaugural meeting,said the overriding goal of the G-9 youth wing was to bring together all patriotic and like-minded zone c youths into a single formidable campaign group capable of organizing and advancing the cause of actualizing PDP dream in the state.
The inaugural meeting was attended by G-9 members from Ado, Agatu, Oju, Otukpo, Obi, Okpokwu and Apa.
