World Sight Day: Princess Adedoja Ogunwusi Vows To Ensure Free Eyes Test, Treatment For People Next Year

Chief Executive Officer, (CEO) of Princess Adedoja Ogunwusi Foundation has promised that her Foundation will organize free health mission on eyes test, and treatment for people by next year’s October 14, world sight awareness day In Brazil.

She made this known in a statement signed by her Foundation’s Project Director, Mr. Gbenga Sodeinde and made available to journalists.

The CEO lamented that covid-19 pandemic that ravaged the country earlier was responsible for her organization’s inability to undertake or prosecute many pro-people’s program that would have touched the people’s lives  positively in Brazil.

She however vowed that all stones would be left unturned to prosecute some of these programs by next in Brazil,  UK, USA, and Nigeria.

Princess Adedoja said she is concerned about the plight the people as part of her Foundation’s objectives, saying raising public awareness of blindness and vision impairment as major international public health issues on this day of world sight day can not be overemphasized in view of how important is vision or eyes is to body.

She said efforts are already being made toward influencing Brazil Governments/Ministers of Health to, and other stakeholders towards ensuring their participation in this program.

Besides, Princess Adedoja added that her Foundation is working on funds for blindness prevention programmes in brazil ahead of next year’s program that she is proposing.

She revealed further that, her Foundation is equally proposing a program whereby her Organisation will target a program to Educate audiences about blindness prevention by next.
