Two young upcoming pop afro boys, Bamisile Taiwo Samuel, a.k.a taste Boy, and Olurotimi Kehinde Ayomide, a.k.a silver boy have revealed their reason why they recorded music to celebrate the Action Democratic Party, ADP chieftain and governorship candidate, Erelu Kemi Elebute-Halle.
Taste Boy and Silver Kay who were beneficiaries of Dominion Group Education empowerment founded and powered by Chief and Chief (Mrs) Halle spoke with heritagenewsng during the programme held in Ado Ekiti earlier during the week where they performed and entertained the gathering to showcase their talent even as they sang-praise Erelu Elebute- Halle’s name.
The talented upcoming artistes disclosed that they never expected that they would be part of the people who would benefit in the Dominion’ Group’s empowerment programme of that day.
Specifically, they said they were spurred by the act of benevolence, and philanthropic activities of this woman who they said has done so much in the areas of youth development and establishment of women in politics.
“We are from Ikole local government Area of Ekiti where our mummy, Erelu Kemi Elebute-Halle comes from, and we are very proud of her, and her activities, particularly the way she used to encourage women in politics, and her activities in the areas of youths development in Ekiti state and across Nigeria.
“We are particularly proud of her philanthropic gestures and her kindness to people she never knew and that is why we have thought of the song that we recorded in her name just to appreciate her for what she is doing
“We never knew that we could be part of the beneficiaries of today, we are very happy and we thank Erelu Kemi Elebute-Halle and her husband and we pray that God will continue to bless her and her husband”.
On what they planned to use the N.5millon naira given to them individually for, they said, “we are going to use it for our education, and we are going to use part of it for the development of our musical career”.
