Why Peter Obi Might Not Get 2million Votes In Next General Election- Fayose
A few hours ago, Prince Isaac Fayose took to social media to express his admiration for the newly-elected President of Nigeria, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, regarding his accomplishments in office thus far.
In a video shared on his Facebook page on Sunday evening, Isaac, who is the sibling of former Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose, mentioned that despite the accusations of poor health and mental incapacity made against Tinubu during the election campaign, the President has achieved noteworthy successes in his initial days in office, demonstrating his competence in effectively managing the country’s affairs.
Expanding on his remarks, the prominent socialite proceeded to criticize Peter Gregory Obi, the candidate of the Labour Party, by suggesting that based on Tinubu’s performance to date, Obi might not receive more than two million votes if another election were held in the country.
Isaac stated, “If a new election were conducted in Nigeria tomorrow, I doubt Obi would receive up to two million votes. I have discovered that all the claims of ill health made against the President before the election were unfounded.
We were deceived. In just thirteen days, the President has accomplished commendably. Look at the recently signed Electricity Bill. As you can see, I have electricity in my house. I don’t need to use my generator. The atmosphere is peaceful and quiet everywhere.
States and even individuals now have the ability to generate their own power. There are no more obstacles. Many people, myself included, regret not voting for Tinubu. I regret it. Welcome to Nigeria.”
