Why I Strangled My Neighbor’s Daughter To Death- Suspect Confesses

Reports has it on how the two suspects, Nuhu Mohammed, 26 and Sani Usman, 22, were arrested by the Niger State Police Command for allegedly killing their neighbour’s daughter, a 14-year-old girl, Ubaida Surajo, in Izom, Gurara Local Government Area of the state.

During interrogations, Nuhu revealed to the police that his reason for killing the girl was because her mother accused him of stealing a certain amount of money.

According to him, he had a serious altercation/argument with the deceased’s mother earlier which made him harbor some resentment towards the family.

So, he planned to kill their daughter with the help of his friend, Sani. He further revealed that the amount of money the woman accused him of stealing was the sum of N90,000.

He said, “I strangled my neighbour’s daughter to death because her mother accused me of stealing her money. She said I stole N90,000. I got my friend to help me kill the girl”.
