The Onibuji of Ibuji Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Oba Folagbade Ojo has revealed the reason behind the installation of the Senior Special Assistant(SSA) to Ekiti state Governor on Special Duties, Chief Olufemi Aduloju as Agba-Akin.
The royal father in his brief remark said he decided to honour the Ado-Ekiti born journalist with the tittle, “Agba-Akin” because of the act of bravery seen in him.
He described Chief Aduloju as a gracious person that death has spared to live. The Onibuji attested to the fact that the governor’s aide is one of the favoured ones that has been destined by God to live to use his glory and one of the major reasons the tittle was conferred on him.
“The reason why I decided to confer the tittle, Agba-Akin on Femi Aduloju is because I see him as a brave person. Anybody that knows Aduloju family in Ado-Ekiti will know that he is a warrior. He is a person that death has spared to live.
“Femi Aduloju is one of the favoured ones that God has destined to live to use his glory”
Oba Folagbade remarked further that another reason for honouring Chief Aduloju was because of his town of origin, Ado-Ekiti which he described as place that has greatly favoured him in life. He recounted his major achievements in Ado-Ekiti during his stay there which accounted for the reason why he is always willing of honouring any person from Ekiti.
“The town, Ado-Ekiti is another reason of honouring Femi Aduloju. That town has greatly favoured me. That is why I am always willing to honour any person from Ekiti ”
The Agba-Akin in his speech shortly after his installation showed his depth of gratitude to Onibuji for deeming him fit to be honoured. He promised to contribute to the development and progress of Ibuji Kingdom.
Chief Aduloju called on all honorary chieftaincy tittles of the town to rally round the king in developing Ibuji Kingdom.
Finally, he showed appreciation to all important dignitaries that took their time to attend his installation ceremony.
“I am extremely grateful to his royal Majesty for deeming it fit to honour me with this great tittle. This tittle has put on me the onerous task of contributing towards the development and progress of Ibuji Kingdom and making it one of the best towns in Ondo state.
“Kabiesi, I want you to call the meeting of all honorary chieftaincy tittle holders so that we can discuss how to develop this town in making it one of the best in this state.
“I want to use this opportunity to show my profound appreciation to all the important dignitaries that took their time to attend my installation ceremony. I am extremely grateful”
The installation ceremony which was lively with different traditional songs and dance was attend by important dignitaries which included, the Secretary to Ekiti State Government, Dr. Habibat Adubiaro, the Deputy state Chairman of APC in Ekiti state, Hon. Sola Elesin, former deputy chief of staff, Otunba Tade Aluko, Chairman, Ado-Ekiti local government, Chief Bosun Osaloni, Secretary of Ado-Ekiti local government.
Others include, Mrs Funke Owolabi, Chief Kemi Olaleye, Hon.Tajudeen Apempe, Hon. Sunday Olaleye, ward chairmen, members of like-mind club and host of other dignitaries.
