Who killed Mubarak?
I keep thinking about the gruesome manner this young man was killed in Ilorin a week ago. Unfortunately, the news didn’t trend much because there was perhaps a bigger one on ground.
Mr. Yusuf Mubarak, a 300 level University undergraduate was discovered in a pool of blood at Unity area, Ilorin, 24 hours after he was declared missing. He was also 27.
Mubaarak, a new media journalist and a native of Ilorin, was said to have been seen around the Federal Secretariat area, Ilorin, Kwara State shortly before he got missing.
He was later declared missing on Friday and fliers were made in a bid to search for him.
I went back to the story of this young man to remind us the need to echo investigation to his death too as we deal with Mohbad’s issue.
May the soul of the two youngmen, who both died at 27, rest in perfect peace.
