Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo, the global senior pastor of the Commonwealth of Zion Assembly, has revealed what a pastor’s wife gave as her reason for sleeping with a younger man when she was caught. He shared this during his Father’s Day sermon on Sunday.
He started by asking all the men in his church to stand, and he made everyone clap for them. He celebrated them for their sacrifices in bringing up their family.
He then encouraged them to be the provider in their home.
“There are things only a man can do. Apart from creator, another definition for father is nourisher. You must be a provider,” he said.
He then encouraged them to spend time with their family in spite of how hard they hustle for their families. He then shared what happened with a pastor’s wife, who was caught sleeping with a younger man.
According to him, when this woman was caught, she apologized, and blamed it on the fact that the man was never around for her. He shared what she said after she was caught.
“She said, please help me beg Baba, but I’m only human. He doesn’t ever have time for me. He’s always fasting,” he said.
“Don’t get me wrong,” he said.”It is wrong to commit adultery no matter the reason. But spend time with your family. Spend time with your wife,” he said.
