Mr. Alagbe Sunday Olugbemiga was appointed Acting Registrar of Crown Polytechnic, Odo, Ado-Ekiti, in Ekiti State on 31st of May 2022 following the approval of the council of the Polytechnic.
He hails from Ogbomoso in Oyo State and has been working with the institution for more than a decade.
He has served in various capacity in Crown Polytechnic the recent being the Director of Students Affairs and Director, exams and records before his appointment.
He graduated from the University of Ado-Ekiti, UNAD, now known as Ekiti State University, EKSU, in 2007 with Bachelor of Science, Bsc. (Ed.) in Economics with Msc Economics in view, and also attended the prestigious Joseph Ayo Babalola University, JABU, Ikeji Arakeji, Osun State where he had B.Sc. Hons in Economics. He is a member of the Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM).
Mr. Alagbe worked in various capacities as Administrative staff in a private company, Delasa Nigeria Limited, Agodi Secretariat, Ibadan, Oyo State and Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo, Ondo State before joining Crown Polytechnic.
Since he joined Crown Polytechnic, he has held positions as Administrative Officer 2, Council and General Administration, 2011; Admin Officer 1, Special Duties (Deputy Rector’s Office) 2011-2015; and rsing to the positions of Assistant Registrar Students Affairs between 2015-2018; Senior Assistant Registrar, (Desk Officer, Joseph Ayo Babalola University, JABU, Crown Polytechnic Study Centre, 2018-2020; then Principal Assistant Registrar (Exams & Records) 2020-2022, before being appointed Acting Registrar.
