What Could Have Made Anyone To Go Extra Miles For Fatoba, A Politician?

The question as to what could have made anyone want to make go extra miles for Hon. Steve Olusola Fatoba, a Chieftain of All Progressives Congress APC, and member representing Ekiti Central I constituency 1 in House of Representatives has been given a premium attention by all and sundry.

Really, politicians are not worth dying for but for Hon. Fatoba, some people, and very many people in Ekiti are ready and willing to go extra miles for this man who they described as a leader with uncommon heart of gold.

Speaking for a cross section of market women from both Ado and Irepodun/Ifelodun, Mrs Olayemi, and also Chief Ojo Ajomole, among farmers’ Association from both Ado and Irepoodun/ Ifelodun who Fatoba had empowered earlier on, came to meet Hon Fatoba , vowing to leave no stone unturned to ensure his victory at poll come Saturday, February 25, 2023 general election.

These people described Fatoba as a politician with uncommon genuine love for the masses: “we are beneficiaries of his dividends of democracy and we shall do anything legal to make him win on Saturday, so that the good works shall continue”

There highlighted a number of empowerments done by Hon Fatoba for both people of Ado and Irepoodun Ifelodun Constituency.

These include: Sponsorship of JAMB tutorial classes for applicants, Thirty (30) beneficiaries of COVID-19 NIRSAL loan totalling Twelve million naira (₦12,000,000), Ten (10) beneficiaries of 2nd COVID-19 NIRSAL palliative/ loan totalling Six Million naira (₦6,000,000.00),One hundred (100) beneficiaries of N-Power programme, and Empowerment for constituents with motorcycles, Sewing machines, Generators, Deep Freezers, grinding machines, etc. and cash donation to some selected members of the constituency.

Others are Two hundred and thirty six (236) beneficiaries of empowerment programme, Fourteen (14) beneficiaries of Agro training – ₦50,000.00 each, One hundred and sixty (160) beneficiaries of survival fund – ₦30,000.00 each, One hundred and fifty (150)beneficiaries of Artisans/Market women fund – ₦20,000.00 each and Recruitment of Two (2) N-Power Independent Monitors

Fatoba’s empowerments for his people also include: One hundred and one (101) beneficiaries of N-Power programme Sponsored and distributed COVID-19 palliative, Donation of fifty (50) Hair-clippers to Barbers’ Association, Procurement and distribution of twenty (20) vulcanizing machines to selected vulcanisers, Supply of sixty (60) chemical spraying equipment, and Supply of wheelchairs for the physically challenged people

Apart from these, Fatoba also secured Federal jobs / employments for constituents at: NSITF (1), NSCDC (2), NDLEA (2), Correctional Services (3), Police (2), Airforce (1), Ministry of Labor (2), National Population Commission (1), NATFORCE (15), he also Sponsored twenty (20) people for handcraft Training, Eleven (11) beneficiaries of Business support grant totalling Nine hundred thousand naira (₦900,000.00) and Distribution of farming equipment to farmers

Fatoba equally facilitated trainings and empowerment for farmers; provided hand sanitizers, nose masks, food items during COVID-19 lockdown in 2020; provided financial support to constituents during COVID-19 lockdown; made donations(Fund/Materials) for community development across the Constituency, and he facilitated supply of relief materials worth millions of naira from National Emergency Management Agency for victims of flood and other natural disasters among others.

“Because he has done a lot affecting lives directly, and positively, his genuine willingness to do more for us, and others, has made Fatoba worth dying for, and we shall make sure that we will go extra miles secure his victory on Saturday, February 25,2023. Fatoba is a worthy ambassador of whom we are proud and we shall continue to support him in whichever thing or position he likes or wishes to aspire”. Beneficiaries of Fatoba’s gestures declared.

They urged people to see reasons they should support and vote for Fatoba enmass on Saturday, ”
Vote for Fatoba, For APC,” they echoched.
