The General Overseer of CAC Miracle City aka Healing Centre, Bashiri, Ado Ekiti, Prophet Victor Olaniyi Oladapo has warned Christians of attitudes and behaviors that can make them lose their rewards after they have have worked for God.
The man of God explained gave the admonition in a sermon, titled: “My reward is with me”, with the following bible verses: Revelation 22:17, Revelation 22:20, Mathew 24: 27, Mathew 24: 30, Mathew 26: 64, John 14: 3, Act 1: 11, colossians 3:4, Titus 3:13, Hebrew 9:28, Revelation 3:11
He listed backbiting, and other works of the flesh to include,sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality, idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, rivalries, dissensions, divisions, envy and drunkenness, which according to him are found in the book of Galatians 20: 19-21.
The man of God said Christians should rather strive always for heavenly kingdom, saying it is better to get to heaven by mistake than to go to hell by mistake.
‘It will do you a lot of good if you could run away from all these because Jesus is certainly coming back for the second time, and in his second coming, he is coming to reward everybody according to his/her deeds.
“You had better believe this right now, and know it for sure that Jesus is not coming to die for the second time. He has died for our sins before. It is now left for you to grab this opportunity and grace once and for all, so that you can get rewarded handsomely by the time he comes back the second time”. He added.
Prophet Oladapo stressed further that Christians should always be willing for the coming of Jesus Christ at all times and that they should always be ready and be prepared for for his coming.
He explained further that Christians can get prepared for his coming by keeping and obeying the Lord’s words and commandments. “You should be ready and be prepared always by reading your bible, by keeping his commandments, and by running away from sins and all appearance of evil.
“It is not also enough for Christians to keep to his words alone, you must live a life that will make people see your good works and talk about it it. is not enough to Christians to keep serving the Lord and your behaviour is nothing to write home about. When about 19 or 15 people out of 20 are not saying any good thing about you or your behaviour.
“It is not good, and good Christians must try and live a life that will make people to testify about your good behaviour as a good Christian to the glorification of God whom you are serving.
“Christians should also learn to let’s go, not all insult are worthy of responding to by Christians, I mean as a child of God, you must allow God to fight for you I’m some areas and matters, above all try and live a holy and Christ examplary life.
“In fact if you live a Christlike life, people will not insult you and if you are insulted , God will fight for you. Remember! Your goal is heavenly kingdom and that is why you must be very careful so that nothing of such will hinder you from getting your heavenly reward” Prophet Oladapo added.
