Venite University Iloro-Ekiti, Ekiti State, has obtained accreditation from the Nigerian University Commission (NUC) to commence the running of the following courses; Nursing Science (B.NSc), Public Health (B.Sc), Medical Laboratory Science (BMLS), and Doctor of Physiotherapy (DPT) in the College of Allied Health Sciences.
This milestone follows the prior endorsement by the NUC for 13 courses to be offered across two existing colleges at the university. The College of Science and Information Technology offers programs in Biochemistry, Microbiology, Forensic Science, Computer Science, Cyber Security, Software Engineering, and Information Technology.
The second, College of Social and Management Sciences provides courses such as Accounting, Economics and Development Studies, Criminology and Security Studies, Entrepreneurship Studies, Public Administration, and Taxation.
Prospective students aspiring to join Venite University for the 2023/24 academic year must satisfy specific admission criteria. These include participation in the 2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), possession of a minimum of five O’Level credits in relevant subjects across not more than two sittings, and a minimum UTME score of 140.
