Since the National headquarters of the PDP and the courts have affirmed the authenticity of the Bisi Kolawole led State Executive Committee, let the power sharing Committee be set up, comprising members of both factions ( this was what the Ekiti PDP reconciliation meeting of Lagos should have come up with if they are genuinely looking for reconciliation) and put this proposal on the table for the endorsement of both factions.
1. Bisi Kolawole led Exco should be acceptable to all as the legitimate authority of PDP in Ekiti State.
2. The State Exco should be expanded, using the doctrine of necessity, to have more ex- officio members.
3. Hon Kehinde Odebunmi should be given ex- officio 1, Barrister Oguntuase ex- officio 2, Rt Hon Tunji Odeyemi ex- officio 3.
4. All should adopt Bisi Kolawole as the PDP Gubernatorial Candidate and let Senator Olujimi nominate the Deputy Governorship candidate from the south Senatorial district.
5. North Senatorial ticket be given to Otunba Yinka Akerele, central Senatorial ticket to Alhaji Lateef Ajijola and south Senatorial ticket to Senator Olujimi.
6. Let a triumvirate of leadership be created as the highest decision making authority for the party in the state to include Chief Ayo Fayose, Chief Segun Oni and Senator Biodun Olujimi.
7. If my Political consultancy service is acceptable to them and peace returns to their factional party, I will be glad to receive a letter of appreciation from the beneficiaries of my benevolence. I offer this free service in the interest of the warm and age-long friendship I have with some of the combatants on both side of the divide viz: Ayo Fayose, Segun Oni, Biodun Olujimi, Bisi Kolawole, Yinka Akerele, Tunji Odeyemi and Gboyega Oguntuase among others.
And if the above proposal is an irritant to any or all of the combatants, I welcome their abuses and insults. But they should be assured that I will gladly dance Wasiu Ayinde Ade Ori Okin at the graveside of Ekiti State PDP when it’s eventually buried post 2022 Gubernatorial elections.
