Hon. Wale Aribisala, please, be reminded that threatening me as a trained and professional journalist with arrest, using the influence of a compromised Police DIG is petty and cheap. Power corrupts, absolute power corrupts absolutely.
Initially, during our telephone conversations you promised that you will go to court over an innocuous article, which is off course part of the constitutional right you are entitled to as a Nigerian. Every other plan is welcome anyway.
However, I have no apologies for my opinion and publication. By profession, our duty is to educate the public and ensure excesses of politicians are curtained in the overall public good.
Lastly, the plan to use some thugs against me also shall be resisted as I will take steps within the ambit of the laws to protect myself against your political inordinate harassment of my person.
In conclusion, I advise you stop dropping the good names of the Adelekes in Osun State for cheap political gains. All these shall be appropriately x-rayed and emphasised. Every man is the architect of his own fortune. Hence, your actions and inactions could mar or make the image you claim to be protecting. Bye
