A support group based in United States of America known as, ‘Friends of BAO’ has commended the Governor-Elect of Ekiti State, His Excellency, Mr Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji on his ongoing consultation with Ekiti stakeholders and leaders within and outside the state.
The group in a statement which was co-signed by its Coordinator, Mr Kayode Familoni and its Secretary Mr Olufemi Folademi described the ongoing consultation with Ekiti stakeholders irrespective of party differences by the Governor-elect as a good step in the right direction.
“On behalf of Friends Of BAO in United States, I want to commend our Governor-elect, Mr Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji for his ongoing consultation with Ekiti stakeholders and leaders ahead of his inauguration come October 16. The Governor-elect has taken a right step in the right direction. He has also shown that he is man with native sense.
“He has began on a good note to reach out to illustrious sons and daughters of Ekiti irrespective of party affiliation for wise counsel and meaningful ideas on how to move the state forward. We are really impressed with this”
The group furthered by congratulating Mr Oyebanji on his recent electoral victory.
“We also want to use this medium to congratulate the Governor-elect on his recent landslide victory which is a true reflection of the love and confidence the people of Ekiti have in Mr Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji to consolidate on the laudable achievements of JKF led administration.
“We are happy to have for the first time an homegrown as the Governor of Ekiti state. We are in no doubt that our Governor-elect will justify the massive votes given to him by the people of Ekiti state”
The group in its message also tasked Mr Oyebanji to run an inclusive government and accommodate ideas from concerned Ekiti sons and daughters.
“While we are congratulating our Governor-elect on his election victory, we also want to urge him to run an inclusive government and accommodate ideas from concerned Ekiti sons and daughters”
On a final note, the U.S based support group wished the Governor-elect a successful tenure.
