In his bid to complement Governor Kayode Fayemi’s effort at boosting the ecomic revival in Ekiti state through social amenities, member, House of Asembly representing Ado Constiency 1, Hon. Toyin Lucas began installation of Solar lights at Enu Odi Market in Ado Ekiti.
Hon. Lucas said he decided to install the solar light out of his burning desire to ensure improved economy activities at the market.
He noted that the Enu Odi market which has an historic foudation of existence of about 100 years, would be more beautified with the installation.
Apart from this, Hon Lucas said his intention was to ensure safety as the the solar light illuminates the market at night.
“This would certainly encourage the market women and men to buy and sell in the market in the night hours without fear and this will boost the economy, not only theirs but also in the state capital.
“I knew that it was the people’s desire to stay and buy and sell in the market at night but because of the initial lack of light in the area, and with this one now, they would be encouraged.
The Iyaloja, Enu Odi, Chief Mrs Aduke Ojo who recieved some of the solar energy equipment when it was being offloaded from the vehicle appreciated Hon Lucas for the initiative.
The Iyaloja who praised him for the gesture prayed for him and thanked Governor Kayode Fayemi.
Mrs Ojo who prayed for Fayemi’s government, expressed joy and happiness that Fayemi’s Givernment remembered them at the Market.

The Market women in appreciation gave Hon Lucas a bag of sachet water, with prayers that water “never gets enemy”, adding that he would forever be loved and appreciated by the people.
They therefore urged Fayemi’s government to continue to remember them for many dividends of democracy as Hon Lucas has done.
Hon. Lucas equally constructed a culvert at Living Spring, Umesi Street, along Local Government Road in Ado Ekiti.
