Tinubu possesses strong political strength to revive economy ~NANS ZONE D DEPUTY COORDINATOR

Reviving the economy of our country requires a comprehensive approach that involves a range of economic policies and strategies.

While speaking with Thezenithnews Reporter in Ado Ekiti this Wednesday, Comr. Taiwo Owolewa, Deputy Coordinator, National Association of Nigerian Students,NANS said while strong political leadership can certainly play a role in this nation, it is important to recognize that economic revival is a complex and multi-dimensional challenge that requires the collective efforts of government, private sector, civil society, and citizens.

He emphasized that President Tinubu’s administration must not encourage corrupt practices in his administration, which has been a significant contributor to Nigeria’s economic challenges in the past. Nigeria has long been plagued by corruption at all levels of government and society, which has undermined the country’s economic development and contributed to inequality, poverty, and social unrest.

To address corruption and improve Nigeria’s economy, the government must take various steps, including the effectiveness of anti-corruption agencies, the implementation of reforms to improve transparency and accountability, and the introduction of policies to encourage foreign investment and promote economic growth.

Meanwhile, As Students’ Leader, “I agree that the government has an important role to play in supporting students through the implementation of good policies since education is a fundamental human right, and it is the responsibility of the government to ensure that all students have access to quality education”.

Comrade Owolewa pleads with the government to increase funding for education and other investments in the education sector to improve access to quality education for all students.
