By Gbenga Sodeinde

It is important to let out few things that are the correct and the whole truth on the purported Judgements in Abuja as it relates to the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for tomorrow June 18, gubernatorial election in Ekiti state, Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, who is otherwise known as BAO.

In view of this, a Competent lawyer and human right activist,  who is also an APC lawmaker in Ekiti House of Assembly, Hon. Barry. Aribasoye has revealed the whole truth about the matters.

According to Aribasoye who is also a member of the legal team representing APC, and Oyebanji in courts:

“1. As it is today, no any known case challenging BAO’s victory at the primary election in FCT or FHC Abuja and no judgement was delivered against APC and her candidate;

“2. There was/is no any matter on Oyebanji’s primary election victory before Justice Inyang Ekwo as stated in the fake story published by faceless media outlet.

“3. There are only three matters instituted to challenge BAO’s victory by:

“a. “`Demola Popoola in Lagos: the FHC in Lagos has declined jurisdiction and transferred same to Ekiti judicial division;

“b. Kayode Ojo was formerly in Abuja FHC before Justice O. A. Egwuatu of court 9 FHC Abuja : the judge in this matter as in Lagos declined jurisdiction and transferred the matter to Ekiti State.

“c. Dayo Adeyeye case is in Ado Ekiti FHC and has since been adjourned to September“`

*Note further: all the matters referenced are still at the preliminary stages.*

“4. _No judgement could be entered now since the matters are still at the preliminary stages and indeed no judgement was delivered as speculated by the fake story makers._

“5. As at today the 16th day of June 2022, there is no court judgement against APC or her candidate BAO in the June 18 gubernatorial election.

“6. APC/BAO is on the ballot for Saturday June 18 Governorship election in Ekiti State and no order was made to delist the name.

“7. Kindly disregard any news saying BAO has been disqualified, it is only coming from the figment of imagination of the fifth columnists.

Thank you

Adeoye Aribasoye.”
