The way Ekiti people usually turn project inspection into a carnival/rally for Governor Oyebanji is what I find amazing. They would inspect with Mr. Governor from start to finish.

Surprisingly, it’s the same comment and rain of prayers everywhere he goes – “Gomina tiwa,” “ore ara ilu”, etc.

The project inspection was in Ikere and some parts of Ado Ekiti yesterday.

Residents of every project site visited were dramatic … out of excitement and joy, there’s no nickname and oriki that Ekiti people have not given to BAO .🤣 I think I will start compiling them for publication.

Meanwhile, If you don’t have the energy you may have to think twice before going on an inspection with BAO oo because it is trekking thingzzz🤣.

In Ikere, Mr. Governor trekked from Post Office to Kajola and the people still told him that even if he wanted to trek to Osun State, they would trek with him.😄

Usually, I make sure I collect the phone numbers of random people who trek with BAO whenever he goes on an inspection. I call them after every outing to thank them and ask a few questions.

This morning, I called a few people I collected their numbers in Ikere and Ado. I jokingly asked if they weren’t tired, and they said if BAO comes back today, they would still troop out and double the trekking with him. “A ti sign fun BAO”🤣😄, one of them said.

By the way, upon all the trekking in Ikere and Ado yesterday evening, BAO still went back to the office to continue his work.
