A prominent traditional spiritual practitioner in Ibadan, Oyo State, Chief Mrs. Princess Mosunmola Adebiyi, has shared the story of her life and spiritual calling, detailing her transition from a Christian background to a path rooted in traditional Yoruba spirituality—one she believes was divinely ordained.

Adebiyi, 33, was born on May 8 in Ibadan, though she spent much of her early years in Abuja. She later attended Ekiti State University, where she studied Plant Science before fully embracing her spiritual vocation.

According to her, signs of her calling appeared early in childhood. She attributes her spiritual sensitivity to circumstances surrounding her birth, explaining that her parents sought divine intervention before she was conceived.

“My parents sought me through spiritual means when my mother was searching for a child. Since then, I have experienced visions and prophetic insights from a young age,” she said.

She explained that her abilities were initially expressed within a Christian setting, where she engaged in prayer and spiritual guidance. However, over time, she began to feel that her calling extended beyond the church.

This realization, she noted, became clearer following a series of personal and financial setbacks, including an incident in which her boutique business was looted.

“I was told I was not using my gift in the right place. When I resisted the traditional path, my shop was attacked by thieves. That moment became a turning point in my life,” she recalled.

Following the experience, Adebiyi said she accepted her traditional calling, drawing guidance from her grandparents and ancestral roots. She emphasized that her practice is grounded in reverence for Olódùmarè, whom she credits as the ultimate source of her spiritual abilities.

Over the years, she claims to have supported individuals both within Nigeria and internationally, offering guidance on issues ranging from business challenges to spiritual well-being and health concerns. According to her, many who have sought her help have returned with testimonies of transformation.

Her growing influence within the traditional spiritual community earned her the chieftaincy title of “Ìyá Òṣun Àbòkè of Ibadanland” about six years ago—an honor she says reflects her role as both a cultural custodian and spiritual guide.

Also known by her birth name, Yeyebukunmi, Adebiyi currently runs a spiritual center, Yeyebukunmi Spiritual Care, located in the Awotan Apete area of Ibadan. From this center, she attends to clients seeking spiritual consultation and support.

According to her, “I have palace that I attend to people..  yeyebukunmi spiritual care.My palace is located at awotan apete ibadan Nigeria. My e mail address is Princessmosunmola24@gmail.com and my telephone number is:+2347068694808″

She noted that her work includes regular prayer sessions—particularly on Mondays—which continue to draw followers and testimonies.

“My mission is to help people overcome life’s challenges through spiritual guidance,” she said.

While her claims of healing and spiritual intervention remain matters of personal belief, Adebiyi maintains that her practice is guided by divine authority and is focused on improving the lives of those who seek her assistance.
