THANK YOU, IKALES HOME AND ABROAD!
I want to thank my fellow Ikale indigenes, both home and abroad, for honoring me with your vote on February 25th, 2023.
I am deeply moved by your massive support, uncommon love, expression of confidence and total submission of future hope for my mandate from all the communities that made up Ikaleland in both Okitipupa and Irele Local Government Areas.
I thank you from the bottom of my heart, as I am yet to figure out what really qualify me to enjoy such fundamental love, willingness and enthusiasm to be your representative at the Green Chamber of the National Assembly from June 2023 to 2027.
I owe you, a huge load of gratitude and also immensely grateful to my immediate family, the Royal Dynasty of Oba Feyisara Odimayo, political associates, business partners, social friends and loyal party and non-partisan supporters who so generously contributed their time, effort and finances to our campaign during this very long election season.
I also thank those who initially, didn’t believe in either my party, the All Progressives Congress, APC or my mandate to represent our Federal Constituency, but continuing to wish our land the best for the future.
As we know, being an effective legislator involves listening to constituents, building their confidence and hope of a better life, translating their concerns into workable proposals, and building consensus to implement them; I could not do this job without the involvement and openness of the people I represent, that is why I am soliciting for more support and encouragement as I do the job diligently to the best of my abilities and God’s direction.
You have taken the time to share with me your ideas, concerns, and aspirations, and I sincerely appreciate your willingness to discuss what really matters to you. Not only have you entrusted me with the responsibility of speaking on your behalf as your representative, but you also continue to provide me with the ideas and feedback I need to do it as it should be done. For that, I thank you once again.
Our darling Ikaleland is currently facing many challenges, but we can overcome them if all of us rise above political interests to do what is best for its constituents.
I look forward to continuing to work for you as your representative to restore jobs for our youths, empowerment for our women, build confidence and prosperity in our men and to making it once again, a place where people of all ages can count on a future.
I will also use this medium to express the appreciation of our people to the incumbent MHR, Hon. Ikengboju Gboluga for his service and representation in the last four years. Indeed, Ikale people are proud of you and will continue to definitely engage and need your experience and advice in future endeavours.
My victory at the poll last Saturday, has also humbled me beyond imagination and I am sure that it will propel me to go extra miles to work harder and give quality representation to Ikaleland at the Green Chamber of the National Assembly of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Once again, I thank my Ikale kinsmen for this rare opportunity and privilege to take your seat at the Green Chamber as an Honourable member of House of Representatives.
My appreciation will not be completed without specially thanking our ‘Talk and Do’ Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu, SAN, CON and his wife, Chief Mrs. Betty Anyanwu-Akeredolu for believing in me and my aspiration for my people. I owe the first family a lot and I pray that your children shall receive helps from far and near.
To our party state chairman, Engr. Ade Adetimehin, your fatherly roles and encouragement on my political aspiration is legendary. Indeed, you led the way to this victory.
My leader and deputy governor, Lucky Orimisan Ayedatiwa, our political amazon and Secretary to State Government, Princess Oladunni Odu, Commissioner for Education, Hon.
