Tears As Aarinola’s Body Finally Laid To Rest

It was a flow of tears and pensive mood as the body of late Mrs Aarinola Titilope Adekunle was finally laid to rest.

At exactly 10am on Wednesday, her corpse was moved from Ekiti State Teaching Hospital(EKSUTH) for final interment at Are-Ekiti, in Irepodun-Ifelodun local government of Ekiti State.

Friends, political associates and sympathizers thronged the Are residence of Aarinola’s Father to attend the brief funeral service that was held in her honor.

The officiating pastor in his words said the death of the tricenarian  was painful but no one has the power to question God because, “He is the one that gives and takes”

He thanked friends and sympathizers who took their time to attend the brief service which according to him is a demonstration of the love they have for the deceased. After the brief service, Aarinola’s body was finally laid to rest.

Some of the sympathizers who spoke with Heritagenewsng.com correspondent after the final interment of the deceased expressed their sadness over the ugly incident.

One of the sympathizers who is also a party loyalist of the All Progressives Congress(APC), Mr Olufemi Joshua Aduloju described the deceased as a woman of good character and one of the vibrant members of BAO’s Media Team whose invaluable contributions towards the victory of the party at the last election can not be forgotten in an hurry.

“The death of Titi was a rude shock to the party and entire BAO’s Media team because we didn’t expect such a thing at this very moment. She is a woman of exemplary character. It is painful that she worked and didn’t live to eat the fruit of her labour”

Also another sympathizer, Alhaji Dauda Lawal(ADL) described the deceased as not just a sister but a daughter whose death left him devastated.

“This is indeed trying moment for all of us. Titilope is not just a sister but she is like a daughter to me and friend to many of us.

“She would be dearly missed for her steadfastness and selflessness. May Almighty God rest her soul”

Recall that Governor-elect of Ekiti State visited the deceased’s parents yesterday at their residence in Ado-Ekiti in company of APC party leaders to commiserate with the family over the sudden death of their daughter.

The tricenarian  who died on Monday after a brief illness was survived by a son, father and mother.
