This is, after taking off from the popular Mobil Filling Station, in Ajilosun Area, along Akure-Ado-Ekiti road, and terminated the walk at the Adekunle Fajuyi Memorial Park area, along Government House road.

Speaking at the event, leader of the group, Ajibulu said the walk was a demonstration of their support for Tinubu and Kashima Shettima, his running mate.

He said since politics is all about crowd and votes, the aim of the exercise was to garner more support for the APC presidential candidate.

He also said the solidarity walk was aimed at mobilising support for APC candidates, especially the presidential ambition of Tinubu.

According to him, both members of APC and other friends of Tinubu from other sectors, including students, artisans and businessmen, decided to march on the streets in support of his bid in the next month’s general elections, to further propagate his ideals and spread what is in the offing for Nigeria, if voted into power.

“It is intended to show to the world that Tinubu has millions of foot soldiers that are ready to work for the success of his presidential ambition in Ekiti”, he said
The long walk, caused traffic jams in some parts of the city roads stretch, especially the ones that lead to old garage and Okeyinmi areas.
