Mercy Henry, mother of two who who went missing in Lagos in December 2021, has been found dead.
Mercy went missing on December 16 after she left her home to see a trado-medical doctor in Ijegun, a suburb in Lagos.
One of her friends, Ayo, who resides in Port Harcourt, revealed that Mercy called her that same day asking for a N30, 000 loan which she sent her.
Mercy’s phone was switched off immediately Ayo sent the money into an account of Mayowa, her trado-medical doctor who she went to visit.
Mercy had given birth to one of her daughters with the assistance of Mayowa.
Mayowa and some other suspects were arrested, leading to confessions and recovery of her mutilated and decomposing remains at the back of Mayowa’s building.
Mercy is survived by two daughters aged 5 and 3 years old.
