Omo Abami, Seun Anikulapo Kuti last Sunday, addressed a conference held in Brazil, the music maker condemned the Nigerian political system, he blamed the political class for the social and economic crisis the country is undergoing.
The son of Fela Anikulapo Kuti harped on oneness , he said the groups agitating for separation from Nigeria are not strong enough to stand the task, he called for one Africa.
The Afro beat maestro said that the leadership in Nigeria is a bad example, he begged for more humanitarian reasons to help the poor masses in the streets
Seun disagreed with separatists and agitating groups , he said the poor masses are victims of it , “ The country is in shambles nepotism everywhere , no medical centers, children dying for lack of food and basic amenities, no light, no water , hunger everywhere “ he said
Seun asked the Yorubas in Brazil and in the diaspora to use their influences and help the poor masses at home.
The Fela Anikulapo son said the Oodua agitators cant face Nigeria, he said agitations can only worsen the conditions of the poor masses at home , he said the common ones will continue without food to eat.
Seun slammed the audience surprisingly with a thick statement , he said that the agitators can not defeat Tinubu , imagine defeating the corrupt Nigeria. “ You cant defeat ordinary Tinubu , Imagine Nígeria” he slammed furiously
Seun Kuti, who also is an activist, said that the political class in Nigeria is wicked and inhuman, they loot the treasury and run to live abroad “ no politician can be trusted in Nigeria” he said
The Saxophonist , said Oodua nation is not the solution, he said the poor ones in the streets are suffering , the rich ones will ruin the country and will run away to Europe and America.
Seun said that the struggle for Oodua nation is irrelevant at this moment , he said Nígeria is a fallacy, Oodua is emotional . He said Oodua nation agitators are only reacting to bad governance, nothing more , he said it’s something of the moment.
Seun Kuti declined Nígeria as a country , he said , Nígeria is a mess cooked by the Europeans to enslave us , he positioned against agitations , “ such will only add to the sufferings of the poor masses “ he concluded while hammering on humanitarian reasons as a better solution.
