Prof. Wande Abimbola, the world’s most celebrated Babalawo and Ifa Priest gave a divine revelation this weekend at a conference held in Brazil, he revealed the mysteries behind the 17 Irunmoles who first arrived Ife from the heavens.
According to him, all the places the irumoles threw the Erupe (soil), it all became land on earth, they were able to solidify and extend the land of Ife ( Ile-Ife) meaning extended land of Ife.
The Ifa scholar said that these irumoles were later tired of staying up at the Oke-Ara, so they decided to come down from the hill, Oke Ara and create (Eniyan) human beings to live on earth with them .
These Irumoles, according to Prof.Abimbola created Eniyan and asked Olodumare to give life, Irunmole Ogun gave the bones, Obatala molded the eyes , nose head and other parts , Osun gave water to the body, Olodumare gave life and Eniyan came to exist.
The Professor of Ifa literature said that the discriminatory attitude demonstrated by the 16 male irunmoles towards Irumole Osun, the only female Irunmole provoked instability and difficulties on earth.
Baba further explained that Osun got annoyed for been deserted by the male Irunmoles, so things became difficult on the planet earth causing impossibilites in realizing the missions Olodumare send them to complete on earth.
According to Awise Ifa Agbaye, the 16 Irunmole looked back at Olodumare and asked why they didn’t succeed on earth after doing as directed, they said things started getting worse.
Olodumare responded to the 16 Irunmoles, Olodumare said , they must go back and plead to Irunmole Osun.
Olodumare condemned the way they ( 16 Irunmoles) abandoned Osun, He said they could only succeed if Osun forgave them and work the mission with them.
The I6 irunmoles and Osun retreated their differences , worked together again , and the earth flourished.
