Hon. Steve Olusola Fatoba, has commended APC leaders and members in Ekiti State on their roles in making sure that the forthcoming congress of the party, is free of controversy.
Hon. Fatoba who is representing Ekiti Central Federal Constituency I in the House of Representatives, said he salutes them on their various efforts to ensure that the party remains one solid entity in the state so as to be in a good stead for the next election in the state.
The Reps Member particularly appreciated the Governor, His Excellency, Dr John Kayode Fayemi, the Deputy Governor, and other party leaders and elders of the party on varous efforts being taken to ensure a successful congress in the state.
Fatoba however urged all party members that are nursing one grievance or the other should endeavor to bury the hatchet for the general interest of the party.
The All Progressives Congress (APC) Chieftain admonished members to learn from the situation of the opposition PDP in the state which is embroiled daily in crisis, adding that such situation should not be allowed in APC.
Specifically, Hon. Fatoba urged the party hierarchy to continue to work in harmony and assiduously towards a hitch-free and peaceful congress which will be a starting point for successful prosecution of the next election in the state.
The Federal lawmaker also thanked the Governor, Dr. Fayemi, and party leaders for their roles in the creation of additional polling units in Ekiti State, pointing out that it was a welcome development.
