By Gbenga Sodeinde

Heritagenewsng  reports that one of the famous Igbos leaders have issued this threat come “2023, that It’s Either You Give The Presidency To South East Or We Leave  Nigeria”

Joe Igbokwe

Engineer Agbalanze Nnewi, also known as Joe Igbokwe, is the Special Adviser on Drainage and Water Resources to Governor Sanwo-Olu and a devout member of the All Progressive Congress Party (APC) Lagos branch. He took to his official Facebook page a few hours ago to share what the Igbo Elders had said.

According to him, the elders stated that presidential tickets for the upcoming general elections in 2023 should be given to someone from their region; otherwise, they will be forced to leave.

Mr. Joe Igbokwe, who appears to be a staunch supporter of his political family, declares that as far as he is concerned, all he wants is peace and unity, not division.

Finally, he stated that he wants them to consult with one another and rebuild any bridges that appear to have failed by gathering with fellow Nigerians at a round table to discuss the path forward.

It may interest you to know that the former spokesperson is from the country’s Eastern region, but he opposes the Igbos’ demand for their own country because he appears to believe in a single Nigeria.
