Ramadan: Ekiti SSG, Adubiaro Distributes Food Items and Cash to Over 200 Muslims

…Seeks More Support and Prayers for Gov. Oyebanji

In a show of solidarity during the holy month of Ramadan, Dr. Habibat Adubiaro, the Secretary to Ekiti State Government, distributed food items such as rice and maize along with cash to over two hundred Muslims.

The distribution took place this evening at ward eleven, Isato, Ado-Ekiti, with the presence of APC party leaders, encompassing Muslim faithfuls from all 13 wards in Ado-Ekiti.

In her address, the SSG congratulated the Muslim community for observing Ramadan and offered prayers for their strength throughout the month. She emphasized that these gestures aimed to provide support during the fasting period and highlighted the governor’s commitment to the welfare of Muslims, with arrangements made for additional food item distributions.

Furthermore, Mrs. Adubiaro praised Governor Oyebanji for his impactful governance since taking office, urging Muslims to rally behind him and pray for his continued success.

She stated, “I congratulate you all for partaking in the Holy month of Ramadan. My prayer is for God to grant you strength throughout the fasting period. Today, I am here to stand in solidarity with you and offer what assistance I can during this fasting season. The Governor has shown dedication in his role, and it’s imperative for us to support his efforts.”

“I also urge you to join me in praying for his success in office.”

Earlier, Hon. Mike Akinleye, the local government party chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ado, commended and thanked the SSG for her generous gestures towards party members, encouraging her to continue in her efforts.
In a show of gratitude, the Muslim faithfuls, filled with joy, offered prayers for the success of both the SSG and Governor Oyebanji.
