Students at Festival Hotel, venue of the ‘Power Of One’ empowerment program organized in Lagos could not hide their Joy, as they shouted with high expression of happiness when Princess Adedoja Ogunwusi announced the schorlaship to any five best students to come and study abroad next year.
Princess Adedoja, the CEO of Princess Adedoja Ogunwusi Foundation was a guest speaker at the Power Of One program held at Amuwo Odofin where she announced her organization’s readiness to give schorlaship to five best students to come and study in Brazil next year.
In her speech at the event, Princess Adedoja spoke about steadfastness and dedication which she said has helped her to where she is presently.
According to her, ” I chose dedication first, and I set up my goals with steadfastness, and I chose to follow my dreams with dedication, my late father, Prince Olufemi Ogunwusi of blessed memory loved education so much, and he inpacted it into us his children
“Beccause he was a disciplinarian, this has assisted us alot, his attributes spurred me towards setting up my goals with proper education and dedication, with steadfastness.
“These has brought me to where I am today, and I want to encourage you students to also face your students. Be steadfast and dedicated so that you can be greater tomorrow.
While announcing the schorlaship, Princess Adedoja said, “having realized the impact of education in life, our organization have met and have decided to give five best students in JAMB full scholarship education for them to come and study any course they like in Brazil by next year.
The Chief Host, Engr. Dr. Valentine Oluwaseyi Buraimoh, the Executive Chairman, Amuwo Odofin LGa, who presented Princess Adedoja an award in appreciation of her gesture, thanked her for impacting into the lives of the students.
Also, the Convener, Omoniyo Olulade Temitope thanked Princess Adedoja for honoring the invitation and particularly for her gesture, saying this would go a long way in encouraging the students to do better in their studies and to become a better person in life.
Earlier, the Country Coordinator of the Organisation in Nigeria, Hon. Dele Fasan in his speech. I will be adding a voice to the Already made speech by the Founder of Princess Adedoja Ogunwusi Foundation who is far away in Brazil, Sau paulo as the Corporate head Quarter and branches of the foundation across various countries of the World.
“Our Mission is to make impact by helping indigent Community, individuals, Widows and Children by empowering them to be self reliance and make a model to others by so doing we are creating future leaders and a better people within our Commumity.”
Princess Adedoja Ogunwusi Foundation’s Schorlaship forms were later distributed at the venue. Students and participants at the event expressed appreciation for the wonderful gesture.
