A Brazil based renowned child and women’s welfare advocate, and founder of an humanitarian organization, Adedoja Ogunwusi Foundation, Princess Adedoja Olorunfemi- Ogunwusi has been appointed Eminent Peace Ambassador in Brazil.

This was contained in a latter of appointment signed by His Excellency, Amb. Per Stafsen, MP, JP,
World Peace President, dated 20/03/2024 from the office of the Resident Coordinator, United Nations, Brazil.
The letter reads in part:
“Princess Olorunfemi Adedoja Shadiat, Rua Candido Fontoura 575 Apt. 508d 05583070, Sao Paulo, Federative Republic of Brazil.
‘Dear Eminent Peace Ambassador,
Letter of Your Appointment As Country Director of our Association in Brazil.
“Following your successful appointment as Eminent Peace Ambassador, dated the 8th Day of March 2024, the regional office of our Association in Africa with its Head Office in Nigeria and South Africa alongside the approval from our Headquarters in Denmark and United States of America have jointly agreed with consent to each other to appoint you the Country Director of our Association in Brazil.
“The appointment takes immediate effect on your receipt of this letter.
“Further information concerning our association would be forwarded to you pending your reply of acceptance of the appointment. Meanwhile, the engagement is for a renewable period of four years based on your performance of previous years.
“You are by this appointment expected to participate and represent us in all activities of the United Nations, European Union, Union of South America Nations and other numerous conferences to be held by global and sub-regional organizations within and outside the Federative Republic of Brazil.
“Your acceptance of this appointment would in fact go a long way in making the United Nations achieve its Sustainable Development Goals in Brazil and the world at large.
“Thank you as we look forward to your acceptance of this appointment.Yours most sincerely.”
Earlier, in about a week ago, back home in Nigeria, Princess Adedoja was honoured Awarded An Honorary Doctor of Excellence in recognition of her impactful, philanthropic, and humanitarian, contributions in social justice and community development initiatives.
The Global Multiconcept Business School (GMBS) American Institute Of Africa (AIA) which honoured Princess Adedoja Ogunwusi with the Award noted her remarkable contributions to peace building and her tirelessly efforts towards the betterment of society through her non government organization.
They pointed out that her significant contributions to community development, social welfare, and her unwavering commitment to uplifting marginalized populations and fostering dialogue amidst cultural diversity has earned her widespread recognition and admiration.
Through her foundation, Princess Adedoja Ogunwusi has implemented innovative programs addressing pressing social issues, ranging from education and healthcare to sustainable development and conflict resolution among others.
