…Inaugurates new Sha-Sha market

Few days to the presidential election, the Wife of Ekiti State Governor, Dr Olayemi Oyebanji, yesterday stormed Sha-sha market, one of the major market in Ado Ekiti, the state capital, to campaign for the All Progressives Congress (APC), flagbearer, Bola Tinubu.

Dr Oyebanji appealed to Market men and women in the state to troop out in their numbers on the election day, to vote for the APC presidential candidate, while also extending the same gesture to other candidates of the party, vying for legislative posts in the state and national assemblies.

The wife of the governor made the appeal while inaugurating the new Sha-sha market located at Agric Olope in Ado Ekiti.

According to the first lady, the emergence of the APC candidates in the various elections would assist in actualizing all the developmental projects of the government under the leadership of Governor Biodun Oyebanji.

She appealed to the people not to blame the current naira crunch and fuel scarcity on the ruling party, noting that, it is a phase that would definitely end soon.

While inaugurating the new market, the first lady lauded the Ado Ekiti local government chairman, Chief Bosun Osaloni, for his resilience in realizing the dream of siting a sha- sha market within Ado Ekiti metropolis.

Oyebanji expressed hope that the new market would complement other markets in the state capital and boost its economic development.

She appealed to road side traders to take advantage of the new market to showcase and sale their wares.

In his remark, the chairman Ado-Ekiti local government, Chief Bosun Osaloni who traced the history of the market back to last administration, appreciated the present government for cooperating with Ado Ekiti Local Government to realize the dream.

She also commended the Governor for putting in place all the necessary facilities that would make the new market functional, especially the new road being constructed by the state government.
