As part of activities marking his birthday, the Founder of Opeyemi David Falegan Foundation, Hon. Opeyemi David Falegan yesterday donated free fuel worth millions of naira to the good people of Ekiti state.
Falegan, a member of British Royal Force told journalists that he decided to celebrate his birthday by giving private vehicle owners in Ekiti free fuel PMS (petrol).
He made this known through his media aide, Comrade Adewumi Francis in Ado Ekiti during the distribution of the free fuel at Adekaitan filling state at Falegan area.
“My love for Ekiti people started very long ago, even though I have been giving free fuel to commercial motorists, Okada riders and Keke maruwa long ago, I decided to include private motorists(private vehicle owners) this time to mark my birthday. I cant’s count how many people who had benefitted through this foundation. It is a call I have to fulfill, I will not hold back, I must reach out particularly to the less privileged. That is the essence of Christianity. I had to follow the scripture which tells us to show compassion to humanity.”
Falegan an Ado Ekiti born Philanthropist ,has always been in the news for the good owing to his benevolence in awarding scholarships and donating freely to the needy in the society.
Opeyemi David Falegan Foundation was the first non-governmental organization to be distributing free (PMS) fuel to Ekiti people regularly without political colouration.
He had generously footed many patients medical bills also
