PEPT Verdict: Fatoba Congratulates Tinubu, Shettima, APC
The House of Representatives member representing Ekiti Central Federal Constituency 1 and chairman House committee on Information, National Orientation, Ethics and Values, Hon.Fatoba Olusola Steve has joined well meaning Nigerians to congratulate the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the vice president, Alhaji Kashim Shettima on their victory at the Presidential election tribunal.
Fatoba in his congratulatory message said that the judgement further affirms that the 2023 general election was conducted in the most transparent way. He commended the judiciary for being impartial and upholding the truth in its judgement.
The lawmaker stated further that the judiciary has with the judgement proved that it is the last hope of the resort and also cleared all issues concerning the eligibility of the President and Vice President.
“I, on behalf of myself and the good people of Ekiti Central Federal Constituency 1, heartily congratulates our leader and President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his Vice, Alhaji Kashim Shettima on their landmark victory at the Presidential election tribunal.
“The judgement has helped to put pay to issues of electoral malpractices raised by the opposition parties in the conduct of 2023 general election and giving it a clean bill that the vote of Nigerians truly counts.
“I commend the judiciary for being impartial and upholding the truth in its judgement which has furthered shown that it is the last hope of the common man”
The House committee chairman also congratulated the ruling All Progressives Congress(APC) on the landmark victory of its Presidential candidate at the tribunal. He called on the Presidential candidate of People’s Democratic Party(PDP), Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and its counterpart in the Labour Party(LP) Mr. Peter Obi to accept the outcome of the tribunal and join hands together with the President on the realization of his renewed hope agenda for the development and progress of Nigeria.
“I also congratulate my great party, the All Progressives Congress(APC) on the victory of President Tinubu at the tribunal. This judgement will further solidify the party and make it more formidable ahead of future elections.
“The opposition parties should in the interest of the country accept the verdict of the tribunal and join hands with the President in the realization of his renewed hope agenda”
