– Urges Faithful to Adherent to COVID-19 Precautions

Top Senatorial hopeful for Ondo South Senatorial District in the 2023 National Assembly Election, Mathew Oye Oyerinmade (MATO) has sent his warm greetings to Christians as they commemorate the birth of the Saviour, Jesus Christ at this year Christmas.
Oyerinmade enjoined Christians to always express Agape Love to fellow human beings, not minding their religion, colour, race or language, stressing that the birth of Jesus Christ signifies good tiding, joy to the world and hope for the hopeless.
While urging his supporters, people of the Southern Senatorial District and Ondo residents in general to go out and celebrate the joy of the season, he however cautioned on the need to observe precautions on the new wave of the global pandemic, Covid-19.
Oyerinmade also called for attention and awareness of celebrants about what’s going around them; at churches, malls, market places, dance halls and other large gatherings, to remain safe and alive.
The message and charge were contained in a statement personally signed by Oyerinmade on Friday, and made available to newsmen in Akure, the Ondo State capital.
The oil magnet turned politician commended the Christian community on this historic holy occasion, which he said teaches everyone valuable lessons and life changing norms.
He urged all Nigerians, no matter their religion believe or party affiliation, to keep peace and pray for unity and progress in the country, as well as to make themselves accessible to vote in the General Elections in 2023.
“It gives me great pleasure to congratulate and celebrate Christmas with our people, across our lands and divides.
“This joyous celebration commemorates the birth of Jesus Christ. I congratulate the Christian community on this particular day, as Christmas is a meaningful moment of hope and goodwill and the time we need to show Agape Love to all humanity.
“The Christian religion revolves around Jesus Christ and His message. His example, teachings, and sacrifice have inspired men and women all over the world to strive to be better people and to perform great acts of faith and service since His birth in Bethlehem.
“As we commemorate this historic occasion, let us continue to pray for further progress and development for our country, especially for good leadership at all levels of governance, to rekindle our hope of better Nigeria in a short while.
“Let us encourage one another and embrace the lofty principles that Christmas represents, and not to forget to reach out to the less privileged people, widows, orphans and have nots in our society
He urged Nigerians to trust their hope on the President Mohammedu Buhari led All Progressives Congress (APC) administration at the centre and the Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN led Ondo State Government to deliver more laughter, secured environment and life enjoyable infrastructures to everyone.
