Oyebanji’s Victory, Well Deserved- Oja

 

Words only can not express my joy over the resounding victory of the All Progressives Congress governorship flagbearer now governor-elect, His Excellency, Mr Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji in the just concluded election in Ekiti state.

We give Almighty God all the glory and adoration for the landslide victory of our governor-elect and the peaceful atmosphere enjoyed by Ekiti people during and after the election.

It is on this note that I, Olufemi Joshua Aduloju Oja 1 is using this medium to congratulate the governor-elect of Ekiti state, His Excellency, Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji(BAO) on his well deserved victory.

I commend the people of Ekiti state for taking a good decision and giving their massive votes to Mr Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji.

I also commend the governor of Ekiti state, His Excellency Dr John Kayode Fayemi, his wife, Her Excellency, Erelu Bisi, the Minister of Trade and investment and former governor of Ekiti State, His Excellency, Otunba Niyi Adebayo, our party leaders from the ward to the state level for their efforts towards the victory of our governor-elect.

Let me also use this opportunity to congratulate the deputy governor-elect, Her Excellency, Chief(Mrs) Monisade Christianah Afuye on this well deserved victory.

Ekiti people have spoken loud and clear with their votes and identified with a man in whom they believe can represent them well.

Now that election has come and gone, I want to implore other contestants to accept the outcome of the election in good faith as exemplified by the People’s Democratic Party governoship candidate, Otunba Bisi Kolawole who has congratulated the winner of the guber race.

Other governorship candidates who lost the election should be ready to join hands together with the governor-elect to actualize the vision and mission of better Ekiti.

Electoral contest must not be seen as do or die because it might not be your turn today but be your turn tomorrow.

Let’s us all join hands together to keep Ekiti working.
