…..Urges them to imbibe the spirit of love and pray for Ekiti progress
The Onisan of Isan-Ekiti and Chairman of Ekiti State Council of Traditional Rulers, Oba Ayodele Adejuwon has sent his warmest greetings to muslim faithfuls in Ekiti state on this year’s Ramadan.
The monarch in a statement rejoiced with the faithfuls for being alive to observe the holy month of Ramadan.
“It is my pleasure to greet and rejoice with Muslims in Ekiti state for being alive to observe this year’s fasting. Ramadan which comes once in a year is an holy month which Almighty Allah has made mandatory for all adherent of Islamic faith to observe because of the blessings inherent in it”
Oba Adejuwon called on Muslims as they observe the holy month to imbibe the spirit of true love and show kindness to one another especially to the less privileged ones among them.
He also called on them to use the opportunity offered by Ramadan to pray for the progress of Ekiti state and the peaceful conduct of the upcoming gubernatorial election which is days ahead.
“I want to use this medium to call on our muslim brothers and sisters to use the opportunity offered by this holy month to imbibe the spirit of true love and show kindness to one another as enshrined in the holy Quran.
“They should also pray for the progress of Ekiti state and the peaceful of the upcoming governorship election in Ekiti”.
The Monarch on a final note wished Ekiti Muslims happy Ramadan.
“As you observe this year’s Ramadan, I pray that Almighty Allah will accept your fasting and prayer. Happy Ramadan Kareem”
