These same words were spoken when JKF showed his interest to contest Ekiti Governor seat,that can someone qualified to be Ekiti State Governor from Isan Ekiti.
Today Isan produced a giant that is celebrating his diamond jubilee.

Your birthday is without a doubt, a special day for all of us in your hometown Isan Ekiti and Ekiti state where you served as Governor for eight years, Minister of mines and steel Development and Chairman of Nigeria Governors’ forum and occupied other great leadership positions in Nigeria and Africa
Dr Fayemi exemplifies the Yoruba principle of Omoluabi, a man of honor and integrity, who doesn’t just speak anyhow but full of actions.
Though, many people find it difficult to understand him because he’s a very reserved person who listen much and talk less, this character has made him unpredictable to people around him unless you take your time to under study and understand him very well, then you enjoying your relationship with him.
Despite your quiet disposition and reserved lifestyle you have touched innumerable lives echoing beyond Ekiti State.
On this special day, I, my Olori, Onisan -In -Council ,Isan Progressive Union and entire Isan people joined many others in celebrating Dr. Kayode Fayemi not just for his achievements but for the kind-hearted, visionary leader he is. He brings out the best in everyone he works with and liberated his hometown.
May the year ahead bring you continued success, health, happiness and greater heights you shall go as you continue to lead with wisdom and passion. Your impact on Ekiti and the greater good of the ISAN development in general will be felt for generations yet unborn.
