Heritagenewsng reports that with just one day to the end of the 2021 Nigeria National football league, Management of Ekiti United fc has heaped praises on the teeming supporters of the team for their consistent support from the begining of the season.
While speaking ahead of tomorrow’s last match of the season against Dynamite Force fc from Edo state, Ekiti United Management said the unquantifiable support of the people of Ekiti at home and beyond complemented the impressive moral and financial support from the state government.
The Team Manager, Ekiti United fc, Olusola Babatola (Benbela) informed that the fans could not afford to miss tomorrow’s match, hence the resolve of the Management to allow JUST ONE THOUSAND fans into the Oluyemi Kayode stadium to watch the match live.
Benbela as he’s popularly known however said no one one will be allowed into the stadium no matter how highly placed without using the facemask and adhering with other Covid19 protocols before entering the stadium.
He also inforned that every other Covid19 protocols including social distancing will be adhered to inside the stadium adding that everything will be done in compliance with stipulated guidelines of the Nigeria National football league.
He said no one will be allowed tp enter the stadium, the moment the number of entrants clocks a thousand.
In the meantime, secretary of Ekiti United fc, Ayodeji Olowolafe has urged fans of Ekiti United fc not to worry about how to watch the match live saying efforts were on to stream it live via a dedicted platform and through the team’s facebook page.
Olowolafe urged the people to keep praying for the team to come out victorious on Sunday and qualify for rhe Super 8.
Ekiti United need maximum points and only a victory will be required to achieve to move to 33 points on the NNL Southern Conference B1 group while also praying Osun United also beat or at least draw Go Round fc at Osogbo township stadium same day to seal Ekiti United’s Super 8 qualification.
Shooting Stars of Ibadan are home and dry with their hand on the Super 8 as the leaders of the group. All matches in the NNL Southern Conference B1 group will be played tomorrow simultaneously.
